HELLLLOOOO all!!!

Just back from Disneyland Paris !! Totally exhausted - need at least a year to recover! Had a wonderful time though!

Not totally without hitches however - head gasket blew on useless stupid car - just one mile from DLP - cue lots of waiting on side of French motorway in baking heat.....then lots of calls to AA insurance company to arrange all.... in the end car is being towed home (will take 15 days) and we flew home this morning...thankfully all covered by insurance (thank heavens we took that out!!)
But DLP was FAB Extremely hot, especially Tue and Wed, and very busy, but well worth it.....(prof you're going to LOVE it!! - must send you some info and tips!)

Sadly boiler seems to have packed up...AGAIN in our absence so we have no hot water...and I sooo need a loooong hot shower...sigh...

Still I'm sure all will be work out in the end...

off to catch up on thread...tm sorry to hear boys are poorly - my neice (4) had swine flu, and didn't have tamiflu and was not too bad with it...

will catch up with all tomorrow.....

Hi again.

Hi makingchanges its all in the routines for me and I like the just do it then its done philosophy. I rarely do a mission though . How old is your DD?

I have spent weeks labeling prof there is no end to it (and I only have 2).

Sounds like a very productive day wolf .

Today I have been ironing. Dh has finished replacing the doors - looks great. We also went back to the reclamaition shop and bought a fireplace . Then had a (long) walk to steady our nerves.

I have been struggling again with ds trying to keep him off the comp, playstation,tv. I think he is feeling neglected as dh is busy fixing doors . They are outside now being Ninja Turtles .

I have been listening to an audiobook (the only way to 'read' these days)while ironing/washing up etc called 'Buddhism for mothers' its fantastic. Not too spiritual but lots of understanding about the highs and lows of mothering (written by a mother of 2 toddlers - how do people find the time to write books?!). I think you'd love it tea.

Right - need to get ready for work/holiday club tomorrow.

Glad you had a good time Galen. Shame about the car but at least all covered by insurance.

Makingchanges · 23/08/2009 19:46

Scattyspice - DD is 3 and is at nursery part time

galen · 23/08/2009 20:33

Oh prof - thats exciting , I thought you were going later for some reason! If you email me your address I could send you a map of the park and some info on where to eat etc. if it would help. How long are you there for? Is it the Davy Crocket you're staying at? I'm sure you will all love it! CAT or email your addy at [email protected] and I'll send you one of the maps we picked up, which has parade route and restaurants on.
