how can i kill the little buggers dead quick!

cant do humane traps etc etc, need them dead due to immune suppressed dh.

Coucil / Rentokill and now! Nothing ese will do the job and they're a fire hazard never mind the poo.

Maybe you should make friends with this lot

If you are fortunate you live in an area where the council will get rid of them for free

If unfortunate you can pay Rentokil

Is is definately mice?

old fashioned tom n jerry traps. Bait them with something sticky like jam or peanut butter or choc spread that they have to sit and nibble off not just take it away and set them around the edges of the rooms at right angles to the skirting boards.
Keep resetting them (or as we did chucking them and buying more ) til you no longer get any.

right now i want to rip the kitch out and find the little blighters. am hopinbg its not rats, but the droppings are small.

will look in tom and jerry style traps. should've guessed this would haoppen as found an unused trap on top of the cupboards when we moved in.

Mice love Chocolate, tis the only sure fire way to get them ! We have found that the new style grey plastic traps are better than the wood ones seem to have stronger snap iykwim. don't give up setting them either there is never just one mouse !!

Proper snap traps.

We bought a 2 pack from Homebase or somewhere, baited them with peanut butter (apparently good because being sticky they don't grab it and run) and hey presto dead mouse the next morning and no more mice since (word must have spread LOL)

echoes moocowmrs, there's never just one!! I got about 8 traps and set them all at the same time figuring if one mouse goes missing the others will come to investigate lol

have filled in form on council page to get the extrerminator out. if they come next week, its free, after that, dh is starting work so will have to pay a rather small fee.

exterminator is due round friday, i am going to empty the cupboard tmorrow and put everything else where

Try those sticky traps. Easier on your fingers than snaps, and effective.
Put them where you know they'll run (edges, gaps)& maybe some choc in the middle. Sorry to all mouse lovers out there.
Oh - and block any obvious entry points if poss.

Traps, in a place where your pets and DCs can't get caught, like under the sink. Mice like peanut butter, cheddar, chocolate. The glue traps leave them squealing quite loudly. Quicker methods may seem horrible, but it's all over for the mouse before he knows what hit him. There are also little boxes of poison you can buy, shaped like a cheese wedge; the mice eat the poison and die, then dry up so no smell. Then you could also borrow someone's cat.
