Water in the bottom of the fridge....

I've looked down to the end of the list and can't find the post where someone wanted to know about the hole thing at the back of the fridge being blocked and the base of the fridge being full of water.

I read something about this being to do with the fridge/freezer needing to be balanced.

Sorry I sound so vague. Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!

ours gets blocked up occasionally. i usually poke a skewer down it, and it's sorted, water drains away again.

Ah, thanks very much. I'll do that.

Or a cotton wool bud - was my mother's top tip when she stayed a week ago.

A cotton bud is good too. Tried this on ours, emerged with a disturbing quantity of gunk , and the water problem was fixed.

yes just use something to poke the gunk out!
