yuck - plasticiney stuff on carpet!

DS2 got a little egg thing full of plasticine form a party at the weekend and he has kindly left the sticky stuff on the carpet

Any ideas how to get it off? It was also on the bean bag which I'm not too bothered about but it is just stuck firmly to the carpet

Any ideas?

I have something called "Sticky Stuff remover" - I ordered it from lakeland after kids got some horrid pink putty stuck to our sofa. It worked well and I am sure would work well on a carpet too.
