2 pairs as well.

Any ideas what I can use to get them out please?

vanish bar, sadly it works best with cold water and you may have set the stains but I have def had success using it in the past.

I thought my detergent and washer would do the trick - plus I forgot about them when I did put them in later - but my machine doesn't seem to cope with my messy kids,

DH is off to the shop so I will get him to get a bar. T

Exactly what CarGirl says.

But if you don't have Vanish bar, wet jeans with cold water, squirt washing up liquid (or biological laundry liquid, or sprinkle biological laundry powder) on stains. Rub in or scrub lightly with scrubbing brush. Then wash at 40.

The advertising people are LYING to you, you know, when they say stains like grass and ketchup and blood come out in a normal 40 wash. Its just not true.

scrub it into them with your nails, if it works then the soapy stuff starts to turn green.......then rewash as normal.

You are not wrong.

I feel like I spend my life pre-treating stains on clothes before I wash them. I like the squirty stain remover "shout" best but tesco no longer sell it. For blood, grass etc vanish bar & cold water def best, for ink stains I use specialist stain devil, and the specialist ones for fat & grease work even if stuff has already been washed.

I love doing dark washes, much quicker!

I remember the days when I even thought to check for stains..

Im presuming that this particular stain has been dealt with by now but for future grass stain removal you should....

Do nothing.

Wash just as other non-stained clothes and leave on the line until the stain goes.It may take 2 days if very cloudy but it will go.Tomato and curry stains can be dealt with in the same way

I use Shout too, works brilliantly, still available in Sainsbury's.
