My washing machine smells a bit

Seems to have some water stuck in the rubber inside the door - can't get it out - any advice please

run it through a cycle using bicarb of soda and nothing else in it - might help

Make it a really hot wash too

I think laundry liquids rather than powder can cause a smell too.

I did this yesterday. After a bit of mooching around online, I found that folk were saying it's possibly mildew inside the machine from using liquid detergent and/or low temp washes.

So, I put a load of bleach in and stuck it on a boil wash cycle. Then a boil wash cycle with nothing just to make sure all the bleach had gone.

And it worked! The stink of rotten veg has gone

I need to get out more.
