Just bought one for £15 in Tesco. To replace the £20 that just burned out on Sunday (but was under warranty, so refunded).

I couldn't really make out why I'd be getting any more for £40 than £15. I think an iron's an iron, and I don't spend hours and hours using it, so cheap and cheerful works for me! Especially when I get very nearly a year's use, and then a brand new one for free.

Hope you find what you want.

Just bought the best iron I've ever had and I'm 48 so I've had a few. Phillips Azure around £30. Fantastic amount of steam.
