Hi all

We live in a new build house (5yrs old) so worktops not ancient but they are really stained wherever anything has been spilt and not wiped up in a nanosecond (tea stains etc). They're a grey mottled effect.

Anyone know any top tips to totally remove the stains? One is very bad because coffee machine had been leaking and we didnt realise for about a week

thanks guys! x

I would cover the lot in bleach and leave it for a bit.

I am NOT a domestic goddess though so wait for sensible answers

I asked the mil for you she says try dr power (one in the yellow tub) as it got her stains out. It is from the jml range. Hope this helps

Ooh Dr Power - sounds good to me. How can you not have faith in a product with that name?!

Thanks so much xx

I use bleach to remove stains as IME that is the only thing that works. I think it happens because the coating on the worktop thins over time.
