Well after posting my message here, about how I was going to do an hours house rescue this afternoon whilst DS2 napped, well,...I fell asleep sitting on the sofa, laptop on my lap, didnt even finish my cuppa LOL Woke up in a panic 45 mins later, just 10 mins before I had to leave to collect DC
So house remained a tip...but it has done me good! I felt so much better when I got in from school and feel remotivated!!
Got lots done therefor this evening:
Tidied lounge.
Reorganised DS2 toys into big basket in lounge
reorganised DS2 nappies into smaller basket in lounge
Tidied away assorted debris from behind sofa
dusted lounge
hoovered lounge
Tidied dining room
dusted dining room
cleaned upstairs bathroom
dinner done and cleared
DC and friend entertained!
littlies bathed
LOADS of washing put away
laundry rebooted
form signed for DD2 swimming
notice board sorted out
clothes ready for tomorrow
long chat with DD1 (complicated stories about people saying she "fancied" so and so but she didnt etc.....shes only 9 )
played on DS1 new psp game (didnt have a clue but had to pretend to enjoy it as DS raved on and on about it whilst telling me what to do LOL)
checked calendar
helped DDs tidy room
tidied our disasterous bedroom mess!

so feeling back on track yay!
may have to try an afternoon nap more often LOL

Tomorrow:
AM leavers Mass at school
More washing catch up
holidays planning
buy gifts for teachers

Not too bad really...nearly Friday yay!

oh , and prof I think homemade chocs are a lovely gift. I gave teachers homemade chocs and florentines at Easter in little gift bags...all said they were lovely! Makes a change for them from boxes of Roses LOL

Been a bit of an emotional day, fell out with my friend and she isnt answering her phone

Wolfcub · 15/07/2009 21:29

mad, sorry you've had a fall out with your friend, maybe she needs a bit of time to be upset about it before she's ready to talk - I'd try calling her tomorrow or send her a text saying that you'd like to talk when she's ready.
Do you want to tell us what happened?

littleboyblue · 15/07/2009 21:30

TM Am sure it'll be ok once dust has settled and all calms down.

Galen, I agree naps are brilliant, and you seem to have had a v good day
TM its horrible falling out with a friend, usually over small things, always makes me feel sick at heart. Sometimes its just tactlessness or misunderstanding but see
ms v. hurtful at time or indicative of bigger problem. Wolf gives good advice I think.
Sometimes things are so near surface it's not worth talking till they simmer down.

Managed to get house back into order before dh returned from work, with a splitting headache poor fellow. And gave him nice supper.
And very pleased with myself for continuing nvented story for dd, which I had entirely forgotten plot of (she reminded me) where I had left off 3months ago.

Now to hang out washing [somewhere?]

Feel really happy now to be in London for a stretch of hols (and being with dh), looking forward to various adventures and seeing friends.

TM It's a lovely blog and now if I see it again (I've a memory like a sieve so I'll forget all about it - like most things! - unless you mention it again and link to it) then I'll comment and not worry if it's not original. As for lifespan, I hope yours is long and you keep in as good as possible health. It's good to see you getting the most of your days and enjoying the children to the utmost. I don't know if I've explained myself but I hope you know what I mean.

As for the falling out, I need to go quiet for as many days as it takes for me to think things through and I usually decide that even if the other person was largely at fault, I had a part in it too and I'd like to get back to things being as they were before. If I decide that it was mainly me, then I say sorry and they usually say it too and it's soon forgotten.

lbb I missed posting again last night as I prodded dh to help me get things ready for today and we did.

Sorry, I've not read much of the thread, just did a very brief skim reading. Catch up with you all properly on Fri I hope. Nos da.
