Dry clean only curtains - awful stale smoke smell. Have been wafting on the line to counter this for days...

... what else can I do, it seems to be making no impact. They are quite nice curtains, given by my aunt but I can't hang them in the house smelling like that. Any ideas for a cheap solution?

Hand wash and drip dry would proberly be okay, i handwash all manor of "dryclean"stuff

what in though? Lots of Comfort to remove smell, do you think?

just wash them unless they are a wierd fabric.
