Good luck with the wrapping Scatty. Are you having an at home party for Ds1?

Yes 1st time I've done one at home (I am praying for good weather). I can't quite remember how many I've invited , I think 10 including mine.

Couldn't wrap the parcel as forgotten to buy sweets to put in the layers (do you think pickled onions would do?)

Prof Hopefully the holidays will make things much more laidback

scatty Rather than a treat in each layer, put a forfit in - stand on one leg - the little ones love it and also no worring about who can have what sweets.

Tomorrow is DS1's last day at preschool - I am all emotional.

I have had a shower
Dinner is on
Ironing has been put away
Throw hung out
another load of washing is on
DW has been loaded

scatty i did a parcel as tea suggests for dd's party and it was a great hit. i had children aged 3-10 there and they all joined in thought it was great fun

Had a productive evening...all ran smoothly, I suspect cause DH was out at a parents eve in part. He has been coming home earlier recently, which is lovely, and I always feel it will be a big help....but for some reason it does seem to disrupt thhe smooth running of routines etc....

Anyway all ready for the morning....
DS1 all packed ready to be at school for 8am as he's off to the national rounders finals(he's very excited!)
Lunches sorted
Uniform sorted
Me showered and sorted LOL
Now - bed , sleep!
