YOu know the bit that is in contact with the floor, usually has a brush/no brush option for carpets or tiles/wooden floor. Mine is a little revolting but not sure how to clean it. Warm soapy water?

TIA

I find baby wipes are good - or a washing up brush - fairly dry with soapy water on it.

Oh don't have a washing up brush but do have an old toothbrush. Thanks for that!

try using the Hoover to clean it (unhelpful emoticon). FWIW i miss my Hoover terribly. They only have these little pullalong ones here.
