Calling domestic godesses with immaculate homes - HELP!

I am insanely jealous of people with beautiful stylish uncluttered homes and would love my house to be like that.

I have 3 DC's under 5, a flock of persian cats and an untidy clutter bug for a DH. Am I trying for the impossible in wanting my house to be spotless or can it be done? If so please share the secret, tell me how!

And I can't afford a cleaner so need to do it all myself.

My list just looks so long because it is broken down into tiny tick offable chunks.

Am inspired to dust off my fly lady plans that I made before having DS and have ignored since.
I will get on top of all this chaos!

CherryChoc, you sound alot like me. My Mum never really set much of an example on the housework front. I am therefore clueless and struggling to improve, not helped by MIL having spotless lovely organized home

Am considereing doing FLY lady routines, already rebelling against the shoe thing though, daft idea that one.
