How to clean a pushchair so it looks as good as new again?

I have a pushchair that has sat in the garage for about 18 months. It is muddy, and grubby, and may even have a touch of mildew.

I'd like to clean it up and sell it.

Does the cover come off to wash? You could try using a mildew cleaner designed for shower curtains.

I think the cover comes off.

I'd make up a bucket of warm water with some washing powder and a squirt of washing-up liquid. Just go for it with a scrubbing brush and hose clean. It's so hot this week it will dry through in no time. Better avoid drying in in full sun though incase it fades the fabric.

I stuck my maclaren covers in the washing machine

Great ideas, thank you.
