How to clean my washing machine drawer?

This morning it was disgusting, gunk and black mold. I have managed to clean out the softener side of the drawer and get rid of the mold, but the side for the powder is still dirty. I think it's dried on, encrusted powder. I have scrubbed at it but it won't budge.

Will a long soak have any effect? Or is there anything I can use to lift it off?

In the dishwasher if you have one!

Thanks stinkyfeet but I don't have one!

soak in boiling water or perhaps white vinegar might shift it.

Soak in hot water with some bleach is one tip I have read.

I pull mine right out and put it in the dishwasher, but a good long soak should do it.
