Hi all.

Had a busy weekend with Mum staying and school fair etc. Lovely to see Mum but glad she's gone (IYKWIM). House is is chaos!

To do:
DS to swimming lesson
ds learn spellings
laundry
quick house bleugh.

I tried to explain Flylady to my Mum and dh. Mum is sooo housproud she couldn't understand why anyone would need a website to help them with houswork. Dh didn't get it at all (and had the cheek to ask when I was going to start! ). I'm so glad I've got you guys who understand me .

Dyl - DS away for a whole week! Be brave!

littleboyblue · 22/06/2009 13:16

Hi all

Getting there with today's jobs. We walked up to chemist, normally takes about 20mins, but I let ds1 walk the whole way so took 45 mins!!!!!! He's in bed now so going to have some time with ds2 before I finish off.

I am not ready to do detailed cleaning from the site yet, so just carrying on with my own jobs, today is wash down sofas, clean windows, ploish mirrors, all dusting, and I will attempt todays mission if there's time!

Afternoon all.
Only did a very quick scan of thread!
My DS2 goes away for 3 days on school camp soon. It will be peaceful lol! No arguing between him and DS1 for a whole 3 days! Will miss him though.

Prof Great cake. Looks amazing. I have to make DD2's cake in a few week. It is an under the sea theme cake.

Busy weekend with school fete and have had my brother here since Wednesday. He slept in the tent in the garden. DS's slept in there with him Saturday night. Really nice to have an adult around for a change. Kids had fun playing with him too.

Giggling at PT and Coco and the missing list

I need a kick. So far this afternoon I have eaten biscuits and drunk tea.

Prof - the cake is lovely. Does your friend know you are doing it or will it be a surprise? I would be overwhelmed if someone made it for me

MaggieTulliver · 22/06/2009 14:18

Afternoon all

Very quick visit, not much flying being done as managed to pull the ligament in my right knee when I had my fit on Tuesday, eventualy went to A&E Friday morning Still hurts though, very inconvenient as can't bend it properly makes nappy changing v. difficult and painful.
I'm dreading letting dc's stay away over night, you know it's good for them but!!!
I'm off to sort out lists of things I should be doing yes I'm off to the flylady site for some much needed inspiration and then the washing up is calling me.
Sorry I'm going to stop prattling and hobble off to do something constructive!
Have a good afternoon everyone
BBL, hopefully brain will be in gear.

grouchyoscar · 22/06/2009 14:33

Starbear · 22/06/2009 16:03

dylsmum You need to listen to that song Hello mudar Hello faddah by Alan Sherman I think. I bet Lo will have a fab time.
Prop What talent. Love the cake so pretty.
Shannara ouch! hope you feel better soon. Sit down have some chocolate and allow it to heal. Do remember those days when you could do just that!
You must be all out collecting kids!
I'm just back from my course. Okay so far but I had heartburn in the middle of the night then trapped wind at 4.30am. Got up as I thought walking around would do the trick. So I got W/M on, emptied the DW, brushed the floor, watered some plants (nice and fresh out) hang some clothes. Oiled the chopping board and went back to bed. Didn't get back to sleep and now I'm eating cooking chocolate not good!
Tummy still not good but Hey! Post in a bit with evening fly..

Wolfcub · 22/06/2009 16:12
