Washing machine with a child lock that actually works?

Before I tear my hair out.

DS's new obsession is messing with the machine. Earlier I took a load out, went to dress DD and when I got back he'd put it all back in and set it going again.

This happens all the time. He also sets it off with nothing in it.

Please tell me such a thing exists?

Not a Zanussi. Ds2 does this all the time with ours.[sigh]

I have a Bosch and the child lock is great for DS2 who loves messing with the dials

I have a Bosch as well - and the child lock works!!!

how old is he? can he close the machine door?

my dd (2yo) is a big fan of doing laundry, but with the door open, the buttons light up but nothing happens, and she can't shut the door yet.
