How can I get it out, other than cold water and vanish spray? Is on a double mattress so washing machine not an option!

I think salty cold water might work.

  1. dispose of body
  2. blot up as much as possible with a white cloth
  3. splosh with cold water - keep dabbing until it washes out
  4. if stain is dry, then you'll need to dab on something like a satin devil, Wine Away or a washing soda crystal solution

Spit also helps if it's only a small bloodstain as it has enzymes which break down the composition of the blood. So you'd spit on it, leave it a few seconds to work, then use a clean damp cloth with a bit of biological washing powder on it if necessary.

white vinegar blotted on it with a cloth should get it out
