I Give Up! DD weed on the carpet days ago and it really stinks.

I didn't get to it in time and the soapy water and tin of oust spray have not helped. What can I do?

alternate the two (start with bio and then the bicarb solution) and that will get rid of the smell

Have you tried pouring loads soda water all over and then letting it sink in? Just soak up the excess and keeping pouring it on. Don't rub. The bubbles lift it all out. It's really worked on some amazingly horrible things for me.

Yes, it doesn't matter how cheap it is as long as it has bubbles. It worked with me brilliantly when my cat had an upset stomach over my creme carpet and again when my daughter upset a bright pink smoothie. I never believed either would come out but they did.If I remember, I try to keep a spare bottle in the house.

White wine vinegar works best for piss.

Make up a solution of about one part white wine vinegar to two parts water. Slosh over stain. House will smell like chip shop for an hour or two but after that the stink will be gone.

Works with cats' piss too.

It's the bacteria in the pee that makes it smell, so try spraying it with anti-bacterial spray.

I did that when dd had an accident at night and it took the smell from the matress.
