lol Morning Mad I didn't do the ironing either. Got to the point where it's just too depressing!
Right, had a bad night with my sunburn so ust got up, nothing done.
Don't even know what I need to do today, but here goes. To do
Hang washing
Wipe down bathroom
Sweep and mop bathroom floor
Ironing
Supermarket
Decide what's for dinner
cook
clean kitchen
go to bed!
Going to check now what it is I'm supposed to be doing according to FLYlady.
But seeing as it's bank holiday, I might put it all on hold and catch up tomorrow. That sounds like a better plan I think
Have a good day.
Enjoy picnic tortoise

EHM · 25/05/2009 09:39

Morning ALL TMH THanks for thread.

Not managed to catch up with thread out all day yesterday went to Brighton. IN bed by 9! We didn't get up until 815

so still in pj's & getting ready to go to Ellie's friends birthday party.

Will try & catch up later.

littleboyblue · 25/05/2009 09:41

It's hotspot day today. I have 3 or 4 hotspots in my house Going to work one into my evening routine. I can put the one in the kitchen out whilst I cook dinner.

EHM · 25/05/2009 09:49

galen & prof check this out before you buy tickets. Discovery tickets We bought two 1 day passes & saved ££'s. Tickets are more expensive if you buy on the gate at the park.

EHM · 25/05/2009 10:13

not sure if this will work a clip of the show I went to see on Friday evening fan blardy tastic! Jersey Boys

swanriver · 25/05/2009 10:52

Dh has given me the morning/afternoon off and taken the dcs to Hyde Park with strict instructions that I am not to do ANY CLEANING or ANTHING BORING. I think I've cricked my neck, and possibly did too many lengths yest.

Jersey Boys looks great EHM. Last show I saw was very fringe.

So now I need to:

Do garden to my satisfaction
A bit of creative work
Go for a another swim and buy some more compost (boring but nec)
Keyboard practise

TheMadHouse · 25/05/2009 11:55

Morning

We have collected roof box - wasnt in stock on Saturday
WM on
Hung washing out
Brought washing in
Done some (by no means all) of the ironing
DW emptied
Put up the tent n tunnel thing that mum brought yesterday for the boys to pleay in.

Now we are off to the garden centre for compost and canes

Catch you later

EHM My mum weould love Jersey boys

EHM · 25/05/2009 12:22

swan take it easy-is a swim the best thing today?
tmh hope you get what you need at the garden centre.

We've had a long bath, and ellie is still running around without clothes.

Going to tidy toys away & then insist she gets ready. We must have lunch before we leave to go the party.

swanriver · 25/05/2009 12:26

Mowed lawn - seriously wild
Moved climbing frame to mow under
dug up several dandelions
pulled up some past it plants

Now
strimmer

swanriver · 25/05/2009 12:38

x-post EHM,
I think I just need to keep my face in water when I swim and breathe properly, not swim like a old lady but I'm really enjoying the endorphins!
hope you can catch Ellie and put her into some party frills!

laurasmiles · 25/05/2009 14:59

hello again everyone - soory I dropped off the page for a few days. No time to catch up with threads I'm afraid but I hope no disasters for anyone and all is calm and happy for the bank holiday.

Although I haven't posted, I have been decluttering and organsing like mad and the house is really coming together. Emptied nearly all the toys from the garage which hae been covered in builders dst and all our of order - restored and shiny now!

I'm going to give one more week of concentrating on baby steps, morning and evening routines, to really get to automatic pilot ( it's starting already! )before I start pulling a weekly routine together and adding the missions regularly.

Off to do a bit of clothes shopping - first time in months - as tumbledyer marked all my white clothes yesterday. Don't know what I did; it's never happened before. Must have overfilled it or put it on too high a heat! .

Nice to be back.

swanriver · 25/05/2009 16:36

Just now - Changed all dcs sheets, washed half and put away some laundry unironed

Previously - edged lawn, raked up debris

dcs played in garden for a bit with hose
so sneaking away now for my swim whilst they are watching a film with him

Hi all.

Back from camping in Dent today. Sat was challenging (over excited DC, long car journey, crowded campsite, incontinent dd!, hyper active DS, persistent drizzle). But Sunday was great (wall to wall sunshine, long walk by the river, picnic in a meadow, lots of wild flowers, rolling down the hill, warm evening, endless games of snap, wine).

Just need to tackle the washing now. Might start with two very grubby children LOL.

Catch up tomorrow .

TheMadHouse · 25/05/2009 18:05

Evening all

We have had a really nice relaxing day in the garden.

Got more compost and canes
caned up the peas, mange tout and beans
Planted more leeks, onions, marrows, broch
Planted 2 hanging baskets
Planted my three teir planter that my dad made as a house warming present for me and DH over 15 years ago
Played in the paddling pool, infact the DS had their bath in it, supplied them with crazy foam soap, shampoo and conditioner and filled a couple of watering cans with warm water to rise
tidied garden
Watered plants
Dinner
More ironing
Boys in PJ's

To do

Ironing to put away
Me to get clean
Clothes to get out for tomorrow
check plans for tomorrow

OP posts:
swanriver · 25/05/2009 18:32

Done
8 length swim in 10 mins
Bought compost and some less lurid petunias (other ones have come out fuschia pink not as I wanted tasteful dark red)
Dcs fed on noodles and casserole, followed by more rice pudding

What a lyrical description of camping Scatty!

Glad you had a unwinding day TMH, wow what a lot of veg.
So far I have robust looking beans and courgette seedlings, hopeless weedy mingy carrot and onion, and tomato is not germinating. Basil has germinated well though.
Potatoes are growing lush and lovely in pots.

TheMadHouse · 25/05/2009 19:12

Swan - my carrots and parsnips are not showing at all, but my berlotti are just sprouting, I am going to give it a couple of days before I transplant on.

My Pertunias are florid fushia I thought that was the whole thing with annuals, the brighter and more tasteless the better. We are really living in the 1970's good life in my house

Oh and the boys sunflowers have shoots

Boys are in bed
DH is having a shower
I have put the ironing away
Clothes are sorted for tomorrow

Only things left to do are

Phone calls
check plans for tomorrow (DS1's first official swimming lesson)

But had a nice day in the garden again.Paddling pool and BBQ for kids...
more gardening for me...planted some pepper plants and some flower seeds (sweet pea and stock) and more flowerbed clearing and veg patch weeding.Sadly somethging seems to have attacked my spinach...all browning and curling up and MILLIONS of TINY white eggs?under leaves (looks like they have been sprinkled with salt)...need to do some research to erdicate problem...had to dig lots up and they had been doing so well....

Lots of fun had by Dc in garden....house a total tip....mud and grass and sand everywhere! But now put to rights mostly

Tomorrow to Do:
LOTS of clean washing away
about 400 loads of washing to catch up on!
big tidy of girls rooms which they seem to have trashed this evening!

probably lots more but we'll see!

Also have bowling first thing (penny bowling offer again...thanks to mad for info on that back in Feb!)

Is now raining so dont need to water garden...good timing!

Do need to book train for going to sisters on Fri though....

Right better dash

BBtomorrow ladies

Hello all I'm just back from visit to Durham. Lovely to see our friends, kids had a ball with their three children too. Visited another friend with a 6 day old baby today. So very very tiny!! Gorgeous, and I'm not normally a new born baby fan! Fitting in preemie sized nappies she's so small. Lovely to see her mum too and the other little girl who is now 3!
Usual chaos when you get back from a trip. Plus I have a stomach ache. Too much rich food yesterday, and crap food today, and lack of water!

galen hope your wedding anniversary was good!
swan hope aches and pains better, your garden sounds lush
mad ditto your garden too! Sounds like you've had a good day today. You sound more positive despite insomnia?
laura good to see you back
scatty Dent lovely -
ehm how was the party? And Brighton? I've never been and would love to go
llb Don't forget to rest and enjoy your life as well as flylady! keep with baby steps and if there's one you're not keen on (like post it notes everywhere - not for me!!) just skip it and keep with the others for that day - even more repetition to help you build a routine!

Well I'm off to watch recorded Britain's Got Talent from yesterday!
See you tomorrow, may be starting potty training perhaps!

TheMadHouse · 25/05/2009 19:23

Wendy We started potty training yesterday. 2 accidents so far, but he has been naked most of the time. He really doesnt want to be out of nappies, but I eould like to go camping next month with DS2 only in them at night anf he is also 3 in 4 weeks

OP posts:
wendyredkitchenredspots · 25/05/2009 19:32

mad yes, DD is only 2 and a half but she is more than ready really, it's whether I am! Also she has a cold so perhaps I'd be better waiting a while. I remember the first few days were millions of accidents with DS - i think he only managed once on the potty in the first day! But he was done in a week.
night all

TheMadHouse · 25/05/2009 19:47

Ah but girls are different. Also we have gone straght to the toilet. I can not stand the though of a potty - urgggggg.

DS1 was dry day and night in two days at 2.9, but everyone is different and if he is anything like my brother he will be 4 nearly

Tortoise · 25/05/2009 20:22

Evening all.
We had a Fab day out today. The sun shined quite a bit of the time and it was really hot. Tiny bit of drizzle as we left the house this morning. Really glad we went. Will be adding a couple of pics to FB in a mo.
