Wooly/fleecy jumper COVERED in bits of mown dried grass - help!

DD was rolling in the freshly-mowed grass and her fleecy jacket is now covered in it, I mean right into the pile.

Have shaken as much out as I can but there is still loads in there.

Any ideas? Do I wash it or will that embed the grass even further?

Clueless... she's only 2 - it is her first year of rolling down grassy banks lol!

tumble dry it and the drier should take most of it off. It will collect in the filter. i do this with fleece jacckets when to dogs have decided to lie on them andd it works.
