Dualit Lite 4-slice toaster

Looking at getting the above as I really ought to give up on our toaster (only seems to work properly when I threaten to replace it - spooky!). Would like one that does 4 slices in 2 long slots, rather than 4 next to each other. I've seen the threads saying Dualit is fab, but have also heard that the 'lite' ones aren't so good; what's the verdict here?

We have a traditional 4 slicer and it's crap. Dodgy circuit so kept cutting out, then exploded and electrocuted one of my mothers-in-law (the nicer one).

We have the 4 slicer with the slots next to each other and i love it!

We have the 4 slice one and I hate it!! Anything slightly wider than your average slice of bread gets badly stuck (including the crust, hot cross buns etc) and crumbles. Also some slots seem to be hotter than others so toast either burns in some or isn't cooked in others. Maybe cause ours is a bit old thought....

i love my proper dualit 4 slicer.

i figured the "lite" one is just an overpriced regular toaster.
