I can't believe I have wasted an hour waiting for MN when it crashed. I could not do a thing until I could post on here and give you my list. I need therapy.
Well, when I sat down it was raining so I was going to do indoor house work. The hour has past and the sun is now out!!!!
Still need to do indoor stuff first

Load washing machine
Make beds
Fold clothes from dryer
Put load in dryer (weather might not hold out)
Collect DS toys and make three piles
Rubbish Charity and keep.
Dust his room.
Garden put as many plants in the ground as possible before it rains again.

Starbear · 19/05/2009 10:04

swanriver Don't worry they are just stats, as my DH says the Accountants have taken over the world!!!! I bet you DD is fine. In years to come is she going to remember that figure or having a lovely Mummy that made her soup, let her sit under the quilt watching telly when she was poorly.

swanriver · 19/05/2009 10:11

thanks Starbear - and that's what makes me cross with statistical judgements! Anyway, think we may have to be a bit firmer with "tummyaches" and being ill whenever her twin is...
Oh so a general crash was what the delay was, thought it was my computer.
Sun has come out here too!
Basil has germinated!
Good luck with your planting, I have now cut a piece of hose and now trying to mend hoover.
Won't be back till 1.00.

Morning Swan I am running behind this morning, as the boys had a nasty night, DS2 was sick and DS1 has growing pains

So I had another broken night sleep.

Washer is on
DW is done
Beds are made

We are off to toddlers in 10 mins

swanriver · 19/05/2009 10:48

Done
lunchbox
vp x 2
kids to school
Dh has decluttered his suits..a bit and found some matching pairs

received a low attendance letter for dd 89% (instead of 95 % which is apparently norm) dh very but in light of day don't think I will respond...probably just generated by bureaucrats. And we have never taken any termtime hols unlike some people....

Now too wet to garden
so first drawers
then spare room
what's for dinner roast and veg
then determined to have a relaxing day before kids hit the fan.

scatty For my lot growing pains have been leg pains during the night which are pretty painful by the way mine have cried! Hasn't happened for a while though.

Just managed 30 mins on wii fit. Muscles aching now.
20 mins free step planned for during neighbours. 30 mins is just too boring lol!

Just need to grab a quick bit of lunch.

TheMadHouse · 19/05/2009 13:43

Afternoon all

I fear I should not of got up today

DS2 spilt my coffee all over me at toddlers (greedy so and so was trying to get my biccie)

Postman came and DS2 ran out and ran off

Anyway scatty DS1 seems to grow in busts, not a little at a time and he gets pains in his upper leg, tummy and groin area. Wakes up screaming like I do with cramp calpol and cuddles are our remedy of choice

I have prepared dinner - chicken soup/stew (in slow cooker), just have to make dumplings later
General tidy of the play room
Been to toddlers
had lunch
washed lunch pots

I am now taking 5 mins with a cuppa before visiting freind

TheMadHouse · 19/05/2009 13:44

Starbear · 19/05/2009 14:21

Rain stopped play in the garden.
I have a dastardly plan
Figure out where the plants need to go. Weed prepare and dig the holes for the plants. Then on Friday PLANT them with DS.I know its not kosher but can do a neat job with him.
Thinking of paying a friend to do a planting scheme for me. I throw anything into the ground and then wonder why it doesn't look like my dream cottage garden.
Wolf feel you pain. Ds had earache the last two weeks up at various times in the night
grouchyoscar You do sound busy. only MN for 1 min wow.
MAD Not here often enough to know what that(.)(.) but love symbol boobs. Don't worry I don't need to catch up.
Rain stopped back out.

swanriver · 19/05/2009 14:40

Starbear, I did a garden design course ten years ago, and still cannot get it right.
I think allowing enough ultimate space for plant is v. important (overplanting is a common error), and apparently 2/3 deciduous to 1/3 evergreen framework is the way to have "allyear interest".(I was looking at my coursework yesterday...
Cottage gardens are quite difficult as well aren't they - to get that floatiness without the inevitable untidiness that follows...

New Hoover HAS BROKEN already. I am so upset. Partly the reason I am burbling on about gardens. Several slices of stale choc cake later, I am now going to try to see whether the motor just needed cooling. Deep breath.

Several washes on
2 bedrooms dusted and tidied
now to wrap a present
and write invitations to ds1's party.
