Dyson Hoovers

Can anyone direct me in the right path to choose which Dyson hoover,I have mostly wooden flooring but a rug that needs a good hoover at least once a day that is a nightmare to get it to look good although it cost a fortune and don't want to part with it.

Don't you mean a Dyson Vacuum cleaner?

I have one, a small one (not an upright) and it is fab. How about atarting with the dyson website?

I looked at them when i bought my vacuum but they are just so damn ugly

I got the cylinder allergy one through MN last year

i got the allergy 1 recently , expensive but worth it as my kids have asthma , it has a handy fold away system , paid ?400 for it though ,

I have a Dyson All Floors that does both hard floors (parquet and tiles) and rugs brilliantly.

My dyson is 10 years old and still going strong it is the DC04 upright. I love it with a passion.

It does both my carpet and my laminate flooring but the dyson website is a bit fab.

I have had it serviced once, cost £56 after it had started to make a very strange noise. Rang dyson, they "listened" to my dyson and diagnosed it over the phone

Wouldn't have anything other than a dyson ever again!

I have a Dyson DC07i, bought about 6 weeks ago.
Two things I will say against it, the extendable hose doesn't extend very well, and it's VERY Noisy. Listen to the different vac cleaners in the shop before you buy. I nearly bought a Miele instead, I imagine Miele is much quieter, but I didn't want to faff about with expensive bags.
