Morning ladies

Feeling fab this morning. Have decided to give up alcohol for the next month as it was becoming too much of a habit Slept better than I have in months and feel just so much better already. Did start a thread to see if anyone would join me but no takers yet!

No housework today and everything is done, including ironing, and looking lovely! So dh and taking girls out for the day as weather is good thank goodness!

Will bll. Have a lovely, relaxing day everyone.

Confused by cut and pasted posts....

Parties sound fun. Glad they went well. DD1 wants a sleepover for hers (3 weeks) but it can only happen if there is another bedroom here by then.

Spent today removing old bathroom in preparation to turn it into a bedroom. We will need to spend all day tomorrow on it too, and my fingers are shredded from picking up broken tiles.

Evening Goodness too many posts to get through!

Had a lovely day. Took the girls out. Had a carvery then went to the botanical gardens in Glasgow. Popped in to see one of my sister's on the way back and one of my other sister's arrived too. We all have a right laugh when we get together. Is good for the soul.

Right 2 sleeps to Disney. My Aunty arrives this afternoon I have to pick her up from luton aiport. Mum, Sis & Nephew arrive tomorrow. I am off to do small pile of ironing. stripped ellie's bed & in wm.
House looking very good, may give it a full once over won't take long & clean bathroom once we are all showered.
Taking Aunty to Bingo tonight as they don't have in CI & she loves it! I also booked tickets last night for 22nd to see "jersey boys" I have a very exciting week

Well we are having an easy sunday. DH has work to do in the garden with waterbut and recyling area and has just got his power tools out to try and beat the weather

I am going to pop to supermarket with one of the mini's
Sunday Roast to cook
SUnday papers to get
washing to do
some ironing maybe
Once the rain starts it will be popcorn and films
Baths all round this evening and preparation for the week.

EHM thank you thats a very kind offer, i fear may be a bit late this time though as wedding is tomorrow.

this morning i have done the second coat of gloss in the bathroom and loaded the washer.

i need to;
buy ceiling paint
buy wall paint
paint!
load washer
dye the bath towels to fit with new colour scheme
collect dc from their dads
iron
asda
breakfast

the flat isnt too bad as it only me here and there are just decorating bits and bobs around, won't botehr putting those away this morning as i havent finished yet. off for
breakfast before i go to the shops

Dp spent a large part of last night on all fours in the dining room unable to move! Called duty doc. but he just advised paracetamol and a hot water bottle. Err, I think we had that covered already.

House already falling apart as I was out all yesterday and busy last night and suddenly it looks like a bombs site! It's amazing how quickly chaos returns. Must get myself together today as I can't bear the thought of starting off like this on Monday.

Dp resting, so I'll need to occupy the children in between flying. We might have a major sort out of their toys if i can get thme excited about that.

Laura - poor dh. Try something with codeine in (solpedeine) go for the strongest over the counter pain killer. He should try to move about gently rather than stay still. walking around (though not lifting or twisting obviously) and lying down is better than sitting. Go to walk in centre or GP tomorrow. He needs to be followed up and ideally have some physio, even if it improves as it may come back. Good luck.

Mad morning with wrapping paper everywhere. DD1 enjoying her birthday. All playing with new (2nd hand) bits of playmobil. Nice to see them playing together.

Housework can wait today i think. Pretty good still from yesterday. DW has been loaded and is running and i need to make sure all have clean uniform.

Mixture of sunshine and showers so far today so might have to use TD.

All is going well - DH is being very injenuative (sp) He has made a shelve for the water butt and one for the recyling boxes and is now attempting to lengthen the pipe thing to the waterbutt. Once he hqas finnished if the rain hold off I will add photographs

I have popped to Tesco
I have polished dining room furtuniture
I am also keeping DH is supply of coffee Hard work being a foreman
Boys are plying nicely and watching Kung Fu Panda.
Their Lunch is cooking
Washer in on
TD in on - DH is sawing etc in garden, so can not use wirlygig

We have had sun here too, no rain yet. We had a lovely (long) walk to the pub (we still overestimate how far they can walk lol). And stopped at park and ice cream shop on the way back. DD did amazingly and hardly used the buggy (which is on its last wheels!). How come they'll walk for miles in the park yet struggle to get to the end of the street when you are going to school/shops .

Have also done ironing and floors and ds homework. Eve routine underway. Need to entice DCs in from the garden and into the bath.

dp and I went to see Star Trek at the Imax last night, it was very good and the first time we have been to the cinema _together- in 3 years!

just made a huge lasagne to feed dp and ds for the next day or too, looks nice!

haven't had time to read thread (dp's little sister was staying with us this weekend) but I hope all are ok

I've had no alcohol for two days Gibb New You Day 2

You all sound very unstressed today, the air is pink not blue!

We went to the last showing of Monsters v. Alien in the district, this morning. We enjoyed it!
Then lots of walking to find lunch (out) and get home again.
Dh and I are really getting on much better, I can really notice it when kids behave badly as we are united instead of just blaming each other for their horribleness.
I then took dd for a haircut and new school shoes, and off to visit a friend for tea.
Dh cut hedge with the sons (not quite sure if they helped but he claims all was calm)and swept up clippings.

Just cooked some okra for my belated supper.
Some washing done, floors mopped last night
Some minor wiping with my new E-cloth - wow what an invention!
