It's about the size of a 50p, I need suggestions please on how to get it off, without damaging the carpet.

It is now obviously hardened, and very attached, is there any way to soften it, and get it up?

TIA

Clean newsheet (ie unprinted) over it, warm iron, keep changing the paper till it is all soaked up.

I think I once read somewhere that if you apply a WARM iron not hot over a piece of kitchen roll or tissue, the was will soften and go into the tissue?
Hope so.
Also, an ice cube can make the wax brittle and you may brak it free easier?

janestillhere · 13/05/2009 16:01

'break' it free obviously.

oooh great, thankyou, I will give that a go

(I had visions of trying to warm it with a match and burning a hole in the carpet [dim])
