Please can anyone suggest something to stop the sink in our bathroom stop stinking? It smells really bad and is not helping my morning sickness! It doesn't seem to be blocked at all....
Thank you!

i would put the plug in, put a splash or more of bleach in, fill the sink right up with hot water and let it flow down the overflow for a few mintes. Take the plug out and leave it for a few hours and hopefully the bleach will clear any smelly gunk in your pipes.

Put some caustic soda and boiling water down it.

Yes, it's just soap scum and hair etc gone a bit yuck. Both of the above will work. I squirt a bit of bleach down every now and then and then follow a few minutes later with plenty of water to flush it through.

Aldi has some stuff in a little bottle, which is a granular powder thing. You pour a capful down the plughole and leave it for 30 minutes plus. The rinse it down with tap-hot water. Seems to do the trick and is probably based on the caustic soda method, but perhaps a bit gentler. It's about £2 I think
