MaggieTulliver · 12/05/2009 17:17

just in case you missed my first post.

sagacious - good about driving. i passed a few years ago and i hated every minute of lessons. gtook me 4 goes

wendyredkitchenredspots · 12/05/2009 18:16

Hi Maggie - another Victorian fictional heroine. Wish I'd thought of choosing my names as such! A bit on the tragic side, though!
Hope all are well today. Laura we all have days like that! I am ignoring my children having put them in front of CBeebies - usually they sit as good as gold when allowed TV time - but they are running riot just because I am upstairs and not sitting right there. GRR DH is calling me to come and sort them out - honestly!
DD is at the stage of still needing a nap, but now if she has one, she gets up super early in the morning. She has been awful today without the nap - so tired, but was up this morning before six with a nap yesterday! I can't win. I'm going to try a very short nap next i.e 45 minutes.
grouchy good news on dh's job!
I have done some babystepping routines today which I've been skipping lately - sweeping the floor after lunch, swish and swipe - but haven't washed up today . I am very much lacking in energy and have eaten so much food today just from fed-up-ness iykwim.
Oh well, tomorrow is another day, eh

EHM · 12/05/2009 18:48

wendyredkitchenredspots · 12/05/2009 18:59

You have been super busy EHM. on house falling through. We went through all that up in Durham before we moved to Yorkshire 18 months ago. We had 8 months on the market before we moved - what a nightmare. Feel for you.

Wolfcub · 12/05/2009 19:53

\grouchy fab news congrats
ehm sorry the house sale has fallen through
mad congrats on the new (.)(.), glad you're getting them in time for your hols.

hello to everyone else, sorry still too wiped out to post.

maggie nice period literature name!

TheMadHouse · 12/05/2009 20:08

Just a quicky I will be a d cup I have one bra and I might have just talked myself into a job as a vertual PA!!!

laurasmiles · 12/05/2009 21:03

Ooohh - I dream of a D-cup. Tell more about the job!!

swanriver · 12/05/2009 21:49

Oh EHM, grr on your behalf. I think anyone should want to buy your house, it sounds so well ordered and maintained, with such conscientious owners.
Laura, no d-cups here either alas.
TMH, you sound v. excited re job!
Dylsmum, I'm sure you will be better at running than you thought. Anyone with a two year old is.
Wendy, I think I just allowed the (80 mins?)nap 1.30-3.00 until they didn't want to have one. 3 years approx. Even my four year old occasionally had naps . Maybe she's just waking from the light? And sleeping through the morning sun when she's really really tired...
What I do remember was that the nap made it more difficult to get them to sleep in the evening, and pushed it to 8.30 bedtime instead of 7.30. And early bedtime never quite recovered after that

Hi, Wolf, sorry you are so shattered.

Tidied dd's room with her this evening and managed to remove two whole boxes of miscellaneous flotsam and put it in some order with her helping Girls seem to need 10000s of categories for their clothes, special drawers for belts, vests, white socks, non-white socks, ballet clothes, smart clothes, casual clothes, uniform, clothes you've worn once, special bandanas, necklaces, hairclips aargh. They seem to spend so much more time RUMMAGING through their possessions. She loves tidying her room.
The boys just have a uniform drawer each and a non-uniform drawer . Well I suppose they do have underwear sections.

Now ironing dh shirts.
BB wed pm

Simply · 12/05/2009 22:12

Hello to all.

EHM Sorry to hear that the house sale has fallen through. I hope you don't have to wait too long for another buyer.

TMH Good news!

If anyone is waiting for an e-mail from me then I'm sorry, I can't get at them at the mo. Should be able to in a day or so.

Right. I've had a long tiring day with work and home stuff so I'm going to hit the sack. See you on Fri if not before.
