Yuck, downstairs loo floor smells of wee

DS1 sometimes loses concentration when he wees and we get a puddle on the floor near the loo. He doesn't notice or tell me so I don't always get to it straight away and now the laminate flooring smells of wee.

Any ideas how I can shift it?

If it's laminate it may have soaked in...

I discovered this this week and figured DS2 had been dribbling. Havce cleaned in there and it is a bit better but now I am thinking new floor needed.

How on earth does it soak in??

Welcome to my world.

It can soak through the joins. they aren't watertight.

FabulousBakerGirl · 08/05/2009 17:55

Oh right.

New floor it is then!

thehouseofmirth · 08/05/2009 18:53

ooh, new floor, brilliant. I hate our flooring and now a legitimate reason to change it. Hurrah!

Zoflora clean home (the pet one) is very good - for your new flooring, obviously don't tell him about it
