Yesterday dd weed on the carpet. Straightaway I threw water on the carpet and then went to look on MN. Followed 2 tips ? squeezed lemon juice and threw bicarb over it, waited for it to dry and then vacuumed this morning. Now I have a powdery stain ? what should I do to remove that? TIA

bit of carpet shampoo?

white vinegar good for wee

I used baby wipes to mop up a couple of wees on the carpet (straight away) and have had no mark.

Worth a try now anyway?

Thanks for your responses. There's no smell - just a powdery stain. Wary of perhaps making it worse with a wipe? Don't have any carpet shampoo.

I found I had to let the bicarb really dry out and do some concentrated hoovering on it. Try loosening the bits if there are any bits left?

Could use some carpet shampoo as suggested and do a slightly wider area if this fails (to help it blend in....)

there is not a single bit of my carpet that doesnt have wee on it, just use an absorbant cloth to soak it up in future, wee is sterile and childrens wee doesnt smell unless they are dehydrated.
