Why is my bedroom so dusty and what can I do about it?

Our bedroom seems to accumulate more dust in a couple of days than the rest of the house does in weeks!
Ok - I admit the dog sleeps in there with us but he has his own bed and stays on it and is only in there at night (as are we!)
We have an en suite & I know that loo paper can make dust but it is not dusty in there - only in the bedroom - mainly on the bedside cabinets (which aren't cluttered!)
What can I do? (apart from dusting

What's on the floor? Dust can rise up if you have a wooden floor or gaps in the walls or ceiling. I live in a really old house and we get a lot of dust because the building itself moves when trucks go past

Wet dusting should help though, rather than dry.

Oh and wash the dog. Plus your partner, most dust is skin cells - urgh.

Carpet on the floor - it's a new house - only 3 years old so has solid floorboards.
Lol at washing dog and husband! Husband would spend all his life in the bath if that was possible!
Yes - wet dusting does seem to sort it for a bit longer.
I guess the skin cells would be coming off clothes etc when we take them off - yuk yuk yuk!
