I just had someone round from a cleaning agency. Payment works by me paying the cleaner their bit directly, but then paying the agency commission up front quarterly.
Is this how it generally works?
Also, she said their insurance had a 100 quid excess and that it didn't cover bleach marks on carpets. And on the issue of giving keys to cleaners/theft, she said they would call the police for you . Shouldn't they be able to do a bit more if it's obvious the TV disappeared and the thief got in without forcing entry?
