Does anyone have a mop they love?

I seem to have a cupboard full of useless mops that I just put up with. It's for a tiled floor and ideally I'd like to be bucket free. Also, washing the cloth at the end it uses in the machine would be good.

What do you have that you love?

I bought this and haven't looked back since - it's really good at getting round corners and you can wash the cloths. It's not bucket-free although I don't use a bucket but an old washing up bowl that I put in the sink with hot soapy water in - easy to use because you can take the cloth off the end of the mop whenever you like to rinse it out. Also you can attach other things instead of the microfibre cloths (though not as neatly as the proper cloths that velcro on) by pushing corners through the holes on top - when in a hurry I've fixed an old towel on and used it to dry a just-washed floor, for instance.

Thanks starfish. Will look into that. I like the idea you can add other things to the head (incase they stop making it!).

I have the earlier version of starfish's flat mop and I love it, again Lakeland. I have 2 heads for mine, one on, one in the wash.

I use dettol direct floor (?) so squirt that and then mop the floor. No bucket required and no rinsing required, anything for an easy life

If I am mopping up something bad (dropped pasta sauce) then you can take it off and wash it like a cloth under a running tap. Back on and away you go!

Mine doesn't have those corner holes though so I am stuck with what I have but they have lasted me at least 6 years!

I stick them in the washing machine, and I tumble them

I don't "love" anything to do with cleaning, but the Ecloth mop is excellent
