Does anyone know where/how to safely dispose of several half-used tins of emulsion paint? Want to clear them out of our garage!

Take them to you local council tip. They will dispose of it for you.

Partly used tins of paint get used by some community groups, too iirc. We have a place locally where you can take tables, chairs, sofas, computers, prams etc etc (so long as they have the flame retardant label they should if that's applicable) and they also collect large items from your home. They mend things if necessary and sell them, giving a discount to people on benefits and senior citizens. Your local council tip might well keep them for collection by an community group rather than just ensuring that they are safely disposed of.
