His school polo shirts are filthy.

This isn't just normal dirt, this is serious grime!

What do they get up to to attract that much filth!

Anyway, just soaking them in biotex before I wash tomorrow.

Will it do any damage to add a small amount of bleach to the water to shift the stubborn stains, or will it damage the material? Or cause a chemical explosion?!

This is pre wash.

I would add it if they are really dirty.
I find that scrubbing the stain a bit with washing up liquid and a nail brush before I put them in the machine is enough to bring out any stains.
I often wonder how they get so dirty too.

Cheers kid, I'll add a splash.

Filth magnets, the 'ole lot of 'em!

I wouldn't do it.

You should never add bleach to any other chemical - you can get dangerous fumes produced with wrong combo's

In fact bleach is the most dangerous product on the shelves of Tesco and completely unnecessary in 99% of situations it is used in.
