Ant invasion

There are ants in my kitchen. Does anyone know how to get rid of them without using poisonous stuff...?

find where they are getting in and pour boiling water on them, and preferably on the nest too if you can find it

the most effective permanent solution is to get some borax from a pharmacy, mix it up with some honey and leave it out for them. worked for us when all else (including the major poison stuff) had failed

I found talc worked last year indoors.
I use normal ant powder outside though!
