Black Coffee

Does anyone know how to get a black coffee stain out of a wool rug, have tried everything I can think of and it wont budge, its a new rug that was expensive "only down a few weeks "

Don't know if it will work but it's worth a shot. But I swear by a top tip given to me by a home carpet cleaner chap and that is-

Dreft (washing powder for woolens) mix a small amount in a spray bottle with cold water and spray on, massage (not rub frantically!) in, blot with kitchen paper. then leave. If yu can't find dreft I suppose a normal washing powder that doesn't contain bleaching agents would do.

Obviously your stain is quite severe so may take more time/effort.
