how do you get your oven to switch itself on while you are out?!

Is this possible?
I have a Tricity Bendix SIE505.
The dial on the left says
clock, manual, timer, cook, stop, automatic.
I inherited the oven with the house and have no instuctions. Any ideas?

If you want the oven to go on for, say 1hr and finish at 17:00, try putting 1 hr in to the cook function and then setting the stop function to 17:00. That's how mine works, but it's not a Tricity Bendix...

I have to set one dial with the cooking length, then the next with the finish time (when i want it to be ready) but have no idea if this would be same as yours.

Ah yes - ruby is right - fave trick of mine too...
