biro on suede seat pad

My darling DD2 looked very clever with herself while drawing with a pen she found when sitting at the brand new dining table (note to self, make sure DD1 hides all her pens properly!)

anyway, after congratulating her on the picture on the paper, i lifted her off the chair, and she has drawn all over the cream seat pad with black ink!!!!

please please please, does anyone know if it is possible to get this out??

just to add, it was only a cheap set, so not sure it is actual suede, prob more suede effect, if that makes a difference!

Hi there, when I used to work in an office I was always getting biro on my shirt sleeves. I ws given a great tip to spray hairspray on it, and it really worked to just dissolve the biro away. Sometimes a little rubbing was required. Thing is, I could then wash my clothes which I don't think you'll be doing with the pad, but a bit of stiffness is better than a biro mark I suppose?

P.s. my brands of choice were Elnett and Pantene so I can vouch for them!

many thanks lotster. i found a previous thread suggesting nail polish remover, and it worked a treat! there is some slight variety in the colour but much, much better than the biro all over it lol!
