...because mine is FILTHY.

I have bought one of those sonic scrubbers 9a bit like an electric toothbrush!)from lakeland and have used bleach on it, but its not coming off!!!

The dirt is round the top/rim of the belfast sink, under the oak worktop...HELP!! Its very hard to reach and it looks AWFUL.....

Also, tips for cleaning bathroom tile grout please....

(new baby - not much cleaning been going on in my house!!)

Have you tried a steamer? (Other shops are available). I've (well, DH actually used it, new toy and all that ) used it on bathroom tile grout, worked well, but I'm not sure if this would damage the wood round your Belfast sink, though.

It is possible that the waterproof varnish/oil or whatever has been damaged and the wood has sustained watermarks.

I have oak surface and we had a bit of water seepage, we had to rub the wood down and retreat it.

what marmaduke said,

plus the best thing for grout is very very strong health and safety banned bleach and a firm toothbrush and here's hoping you don't have too many tiles to do.

We have nasty mouldy stuff on the side of the bath but v strong bleach cuts it.(Until we sell of course)
