Hi everyone

I have a goodmans LCD Plasma TV - and Iv never really cleaned the screen as Im too scared to - plus little cousin 'helped' her mum clean hers one day and melted the screen with whatever she used.

But....there are too many little finger marks appearing and it needs cleaned.

What to use/not to use?

thanks in advance

will watch with interest as i always just go over mine with a duster and am also too scared to do anything else!

I use a really well rung out ecloth (I guess a j cloth would do) which you use with just plain hot water, then dry off the residue with kitchen paper. Don't use any window cleaner or polish! From experience it takes days to get off!

I bought a proper plasma tv cleaning kit (which was a complete rip off). Basically it's just distilled water in a pump spray with a lint free cloth!

I have used those disposable wipes that you can get for pc screens. i believe I may have 'borrowed' some from work.

That reminds me of Jerry Seinfeld blametheparents, where he says that people only go to work for the stationery, the pastry and the coffee...

I use a few squirts of asda window and glass cleaner on a glass cleaning cloth to clean ours. I do this most weeks as dd2 (19mths)keeps touching it.

Oh do it before it been on as the screen get quite hot.

I bought a spray especially for tvs of amazon, does a fab job and wont damage the screen like some cleaners can. Use it for the laptops as well.
