How do I clean and make shinny Granet surfaces??

My black work tops just look smeary??

I have black worktops too.
I use a little baby oil on mine with kitchen roll. Makes them look lovely and shiny! :D (But don't use too much as it looks all smeary again).

use an e cloth

Agree with Grammaticus. Use an E-cloth. They're your only man. They make light work of it and hey presto mark-free worktops!

Oh don't put Windolene on your e-cloth! Or anything! It would ruin it. Just water. Hard to believe it I know, but they are brilliant, worth every penny. No more smears on worktops, windows, mirrors, everything. And so so so easy. This, from a not-so-great, and not-so-fond-of-it housewife/housecleaner/housekeeper. What is my title? SAHM who cleans her house? Or is cleaning automatically part of SAHM job description? And how much cleaning. A frequent debate with DH. Answers gratefully accepted.
