Just had a quick skim of yesterday's thread. Thanks for all the good wishes and lovely messages for dd

She is fine this morning - just wanting to get it over with. Her bp was a bit low which they will keep an eye on through the op but other than that she is good and ready.

gib good luck for your dd today

mad could some of the pain could be caused by tightening in the scars? - a friend of mine had a stent(?) in his chest for a long time in his teens and the scars have been a cause of discomfort. Good luck at the docs

no sleep for me from 2.30am again for the second night in a row grrrr

Wishing you all well, Boys just back from a 4 day break with my Mum.

Hope all has gone well with your DD Gib
TMH are you having a radical change of hairstyle or a reshape? Whichever hope you enjoy being pampered a bit.

TPT - sound like you are ontop of things we need to get some serious planning done, toys and baby stuff cleared out- I just am not ready for it yet.

Prof - I am looking forward to toys getting smaller lol. I know what you mean about momentos etc. DS has sarted to like collecting things, and organising his stuff. I think they might be moving towards wanting seperate bedrooms . Good luck with the party planning.

Done:
hoovering

BiancaCastafiore · 15/04/2009 16:43

Good afternoon

Hope dd is OK Gibb x
TPT we are drowning in semtimenal kids stuff too and need a serious clear-out. I visited some friends a few days ago who have recently moved and therefore been very strict about clearing out "stuff". Their new house is a bit too stark for me but I have to admit coming away feeling depressed about the state of our house
Struggling to get on here these days - esp- with it being school holidays...
FLYing has gone completely out the window and the house is completly falling apart around me!
I seem to have a houseful of mostly other peoples children this afternoon. It was fine when they were in the garden but they're moving into the house now and driving me mad!

Hope everyone is well x x

EustaciaVye · 15/04/2009 16:56

Seems like yest again the school holidays are our downfall. How about next week (Monday) we start collectively babystepping again. Should suit Mad as she recovers and the rest of us slightly distractible types.

Who's in?

Moi

Well best laid plans and all that. The boys didnt settle with Mum, SIL or Bro, so I just about got my hair cut and then had to collect them, feed them and bath them

I have had 4 inches of the length so it is shouldger length now nad in better condition, the drugs and GA did not help it at all.

DH is home and I am waiting for the boys hair to dry before packing them off to bed.

I am at the hospital tomorrow, then taking the boys for a hair cut.

My Homestart lady is going to look after the boys for me - what a star - phew

Wolfcub · 15/04/2009 21:08

I'm in, it's not even school holidays for me but I have fallen off the fly-wagon in a major way

Wolfcub · 15/04/2009 21:21

argh, there's a thread that's really peeing me off repeat I must not post, I must not post, I must not post.

EustaciaVye · 15/04/2009 21:27

where is it, wolf?

Wolfcub · 15/04/2009 21:30

It's not immediately controversial but it pulls my chain a bit, it's one about why don't doctors leave babies in the womb because surely it's better for them than any medical intervention. I must not post I must not post

EustaciaVye · 15/04/2009 21:37

Dont get involved if it will be of no direct benefit to anyone and it will upset you. I've not posted anywhere but FLY and Postnatal for a while as MN has been so nasty for some time.
