My iron has died, would you recommend I replace it with one just like yours?

We are not really excessively ironed here, but we do do some ironing - DH and I both need to look presentable at work. I need to get another iron pdq, probably on line. Any recommendations?

definitely get a steam generator iron - they are v. reasonably priced now and save you loads of ironing time (even if you don't do much in the first place like me)

Second Citronella's suggestion regarding steam generator iron. I wouldn't go so far as to say I like ironing now we have one, but I hate it just a smidgin less than I used to.

third citronellas suggestion of a steam genenerator- cut ironign times in half. well worth the expense IMO and Im not a prolific ironer

I have a non-steam generator normal iron, it is a bosch one, eats water but steams up a treat. About £50 from argos.

I have a steam generator one. Would never get anything else now.

get one of these and you won't regret it.

Downsides are that it is a bit expensive (there are cheaper makes but a friend has had her YEARS with no problems) and they are bulky to store.

On the plus side, no more backache, can do ironing whilst sitting watching tv and timesaving (I can get a weeks worth of ironing done in an hour).
