granite sinks

Hi - just trying to decide whether to get a stainless steel sink or black granite sink - does anyone have any experience with the granite... does it scratch easily ?

Doesn't scratch easily, but does show watermarks quite badly (not good if you are in a hard water area). Also great for chipping plates etc as it is so damn hard!
