hello all I'm back!

OP posts:
wendyredkitchenredspots · 11/04/2009 08:57

I've been gone a few days - sorry girls! I've missed you all but it's so hectic round here! I have two houses now to take care of for a while and it's proving difficult to decorate and clean one whilst keeping up to the other one! Plus I have still been recovering from the chicken pox all week. Thursday was the first day I didn't have a daytime sleep and I had a bad headache all day and had to go to bed at 8pm that day. But I felt all the better for it yesterday and got so much done at the new house.

I can't believe how dirty the new house is, I mean I know it looks dirty once you take all your furniture out, but this is just engrained dirt - I have never used so many scourers and so much Jif in my life! It just shows you what a powerful thing Flying is to just keeping up with the dirt and mess and what a state things get in when you leave it!

Mad sorry to hear about DS2 but I think Galen is spot on when she says it is a precaution and that he will bounce back in no time. You are being such a brilliant Mummy trying to make life just the same as usual and giving the children so much love and putting them first always that there can't possibly be too much damage. In my teaching career I saw so many children who had gone through horrendous family situations and gone on to be well balanced children. Keep on keeping on as we say here

grouchy tesco is horrendous isn't it I avoid it where I can it stresses me out!

Wolf hope DS is better

gibberish good to see you glad the ball went so well - well done! Thinking of you and DD

galen hope sick children on the mend and not affecting anyone else?

everyoneelse hello and sorry if I missed something important!

Wedding today! My spots are all receded so I can wear my strapless fifties dress yay! tonight in the hotel yay!!

See you all soon

Morning all!

wendy good to see you, was just wondering how you were this morning! Sounds hectic having 2 houses! Hope you're enjoying hte new house though.
Glad the CP is on the way out. Enjoy the wedding - should be fab!

mad very sad story about baby L He sounds a wonderful little boy. The garden sounds like a beautiful tribute to remember him by.

Well everyone seems to be recovered here. DD4 being twice as loud as usual to make up for her quiet day yesterday I think LOL DS2 still a bit grumpy but on the mend.
No one else struck down with it yet!!

Feeling quite organised today. In the past I would have been running round like a headless chicken the day before guests, but thanks to FLYing and forward planning I have pretty much most things done! House will need a good final whiz round tonight - no point till DC are in bed though! And still need to make Choc Fudge cake...(sisters special request!) but not much else left to do YAY.Now just have to squezze 15 people round 2 tables and all will be fine!
Weather still abit miserable though.... would like it to dry up so I can cut the grass...

Oh and I have some photos to put up on dining room wall (spent ages picking out 6 photos of DC, editing them in photoshop, then printing and framing them - they look great now though!)

Going to take DC out for fresh air firast though if the rain holds off long enough!!
Have good Saturdays all!

gibbberish · 11/04/2009 09:33

Morning

wendy That new house will be gleaming once you are finished with it! Then you can sit back and feel very pleased with yourself

galen Glad everyone is feeling better now just in time for the weekend!

All feeling fine here too (finally)! I have lost 6lbs due to tummy bug yay! Bit of an extreme way to do it but at least there was an up side to all those visits to the loo

Going to download some pics of the girls at the ball onto my profile later today. Taking them all out for the day first - don't know where yet but we all need to get out of this house! Won't get a chance next week with dd1s op.

Be back later. Have a lovely day everyone x

Wolfcub · 11/04/2009 10:33

TheMadHouse · 11/04/2009 10:37

Yah for wendy and the 50 dress and feeling a wee bit better

Our first house was like that - it was filthy, took an age to clean, but fly defo helps keep on top of things. Once I am better I will be able to get back on top of things

Galen glad the little ones are feeling better, hope the weather improves for grass cutting - I woiuld love to see your pictures

Gib Same goes for you on the picture front.

We are off to collect mum in a mo - DH let mme lie in again - what a man

grouchyoscar · 11/04/2009 11:20

Morning Ladies

Thanks for the thread Wendy. Tesco is terrible, a circle of Hell Dante never included in his book. It stresses me out being with DH in there cos he hates big crowds and gets very grumpy (not only does he look like but also behaves like Daddy Pig but behaves like him too) turns into a bad mood bear and I'm second guessing him and keeping half a dozen eyes on Ed. Anyway, how are your spots? Not too itchy I hope.

Wolf If DS doesn't behave tell him I'll send Ed round to eat his pancakes. Mind you, he'll probably scoff yours too and you hardly deserve that.

I've been invited to a BBQ this aft which is nice, well, we all have but DH, the crowd hater is going to the football , Well it's Leeds United so I don't suppose they get crowds anymore in the 3rd division . So it's me, Ed, a pack of stubbies and a box of J2os. I'm up, showered and dressed, made the bed and done...

...Been really FLYtastic haven't I? DF and DP are round tomorrow so it will be a huge frantic blitz in the morning. Galen could you please float a few organised vibes this way? Tesco sapped me of mine on Thursday.

Suppose I better do something vaguely constructive really. See you later

grouchyoscar · 11/04/2009 11:23

Sorry mad and Gib X posts

Wolfcub · 11/04/2009 12:48

hello again

grouchy enjoy the bbq, ds was actually
asking for Ed the other day. We should try and get them together soon, preferably where there are wide-open spaces and they can burn off some of their energy

mad have a nice time with your mum (shopping I seem to remember), glad you got a lie in, keep taking it steady

done
showered and dressed
read to ds and got him to sleep
dusted all of downstairs and half up staircase
last 1/4 of kitchen cleaned plus hob and bin
kitchen floor swept and mopped
booster seat cleaned

I am now panting , shows how unfit I am, so I'm having a little lie down on the floor and some mn time. I think dp has gone to lie down for a sleep with ds

have lovely days my gorgeous friends, wendy enjoy the wedding.

galen for goodness sake sit down and put your feet up for a day, you make me feel tired just reading your posts

gib I look forward to seeing the girls photos

Tortoise · 12/04/2009 16:44

HAPPY EASTER FLYers.

Hope everyone is having a good day. We have been having fun.
Started with a easter hunt around the house. Chocs and sweets and clues to find them. Then the final clue led them to a big family present of a wii fit! Bit much to spend at easter i know but we have all wanted it for ages and it gave me a good excuse to buy it!

So we have all had a good play on that and i hope to use it more once kids are back at school.

Then tood the dog for a run in the field.

I have a headache but that is because i stayed up too late last night!

Taking kids swimming tomorrow which hopefully will be fun!

Wolfcub · 12/04/2009 19:59

happy easter all
