A paste of Borax and water put on stains. Leave to dry and wash again.
I get my borax from Boots.

Hope the psoriasis eases up soon too.

A soak in Napisan seems to get all biological stains out, including blood

also soaking in a salt water solution helps x

I would soak in cold water (or just do a rinse in the machine) then do use biological detergent at 40C.

hang them out in the sunshine. it doesn't need to be hot and blazing, just regular sunshine will do it.

  1. You will need Biological detergent. If you are allergic follow these steps in biological to get the blood out, then wash again in your usual non-bio.
  1. put the sheets into the washer on a cold rinse first, and let the cold water drain out.
  1. Now put in the Biological detergent, turn on your machine at either 40 or 60 degrees, and let it run for 15 mins or so to fill and heat up the water.
  1. turn off the machine, and leave it all to soak for at least a couple of hours, preferably overnight.
  1. switcvh the machine back on to the same cycle. It should pick up where it stopped, reheating the water and completing the cycle.

Voila !

It doesn't mention soda crystals on pack.
Just says multi purpose cleaner and laundry aid.

Can't remember if it worked or not when I did this but it certainly gets rid/ seriously fades other stains if i add it to normal wash.
