Thursday Fly Thread-Long weekend nearly here

Morning ALL TMH good luck today at hospital.glad you had nice day yesterday & bought some new clothes. Do you go to hospital on your own or with dh? I know it hard to see ds2 so upset. I can't really add to what I & other said yesterday.

Morning all

EHM I am at the hospital on my own today. DH just can not afford anymore time off work at the moment.

Mum is here so I am hoping that she can calm down DS2 when I go at noon

The sun is still shinning here, although it is very windy, but the forcast has been for rain for the last couple of days, so I am not complaining.

I have one of my new t/shirts on today. Sainsburys when they have money off is very reasonably priced.

mad so so pleased you are improving. poor ds2, it is hard on him but as the others said, he is young and with all the support around him he will be fine again in no time

Sorry haven't been around but have been really ill with tummy bug. Been on the couch or in bed since about Sunday!! This is the first day have been well enough to have a shower and get up (ugh). Going to doc this afternoon to get medicine to stop diarrhoea as has gone on far too long now. On the upside, have lost loads of weight

The ball went absolutely brilliantly Couldn't have gone better. 87 teens turned up all looking fabulous and the dance floor was crammed the whole night. Karaoke went down a storm! Was just brilliant. Are def going to do it all again next year. Should get photos tonight so will put a few of the girls on my profile tomorrow.

afternooon all

mad hope you're getting on OK at hosp, and that DS isnt too upset. I would imagine that as he gets used to you going, then coming back he will get less upset when you have have to leave him. Hope the pyschologist can help.

Gibberish glad the ball went well. Poor DD. How is she about it now its closer?Will be thinking of you and her.

Well doing Ok here today....
some crafty type things with DC this am, and now DH has taken them out so I can clear the chaos!It has been raining on and off so that is not so good....

Have done a blitz downstairs and restored newly decorated dining room to rights!

Now to start Easter baking

Later blitz upstairs....

Must dash as want to get baking done before DC come back and want to "help" (is that really mean of me?? LOL Just want to get it done today though LOL!!)

prof that sounds nasty hope you get some rest to aid your recovery. Is dh off during Easter long weekend to help?
tmh I think galen is right once ds2 knows you will come back each time he will settle & hopefully be less upset.
gibb glad ball went well. will be thinking of both you & dd next week. My sil who lives near you is due her 1st baby on 14th. Hope GP gives you meds for upset tummy not pleasant.

dd1 is fine atm. Looking forward to getting new night things for taking in with her! Typical teen hehe.

Is afterwards which will be hard to deal with I think. Not sure what to expect tbh.

Hi everyone else.

Had a great day today today. Lots of sun. We've been to wildfowl centre most of the day, then played in the garden.

Looks like rain now though, better go and get washing in and do some flying .

Back again

Haven't been on here for a few days, ds has been ill again. Saw the gp on tuesday who instantly diagnosed asthma, instant recovery with inhaler and steroid tablets. Will be a relief that next time he gets a cold the inhalor should prevent it going straight to his chest.

Had a great morning of painting, gluing and general mayhem in the hall which did us all good.
TMH hope hospital went well.
Hope all other poorlies are starting to feel better.
Now need to think what to do for tea ds probably won't eat it anyway, but thats a whole different problem!!

Got back from doc with new pills. Told me that Imodium is NOT good to take for diarrhoea and cramps! Just prolongs the misery... now I know!

Might attempt to eat something small tonight - last proper meal was Sunday.

Hoping the hospital visit went well TMH

Went to Tesco today and I ended up drained physically and emotionally, It was utterly awful, you'd think the world was ending All I' ve done is make some cookies and sit on my butt since we got back.

Yesterday was great. DS and DH loved the film and their pub tea.

I'll catch up with the thread and catch you later. TTFN

Hospital was fine, just continue as am with weekley visits - ho hum

Am tired, glad it is the weekend and DH is at home. Mum is as much use as a choc mixer at the moment
