Do i need a plumber?

For about the last week / 10 days, most days, some more than others, whenever I empty the bath, have washing machine or dishwasher on, weird things happen in our plubming. Water comes up the toilets filling them to the brim and then disappears again. There is lots of glugging.
We did block a toilet just prior to all this startingbut managed to unblock it.
Do i need to call dynorod, or a plumber, or can i just wait for it all to right itself? Will we suddenly be stuck over Easter weekend with no drainage?
Sorry to sound very stupid but I really don't understand this kind of stuff.

Sounds like your blocked toilet is now blocking something further down your system. Probably best to try dynorod or similar, but be prepared for an "ouch" when they hand you the bill.

You want to get it sorted now while you can shop around for a good price and not pay emergency call out fees over easter weekend.
You have a blockage in your main line. Whatever was blocking the toilet has just moved further down. Eventually chances are that it will get completely stopped up and unlikely that it will clear on its own.

You will need someone who has a snake/rods long enough/big enough to go down your main sewer line. Your local plumber is probably not the person to call. No need to wait for the bill to find out how much it costs. Ask in advance and shop around while you still have time.

Thanks I took your advice and now its sorted (I usually have a bad habit of waiting until things are unliveable with). £186. They found the blockage two doors down but as it was baby wipes i think it probably came from our house / DS posting

Ouch. But glad you got it sorted before Easter.
