Good for you MAD Glad you feel brighter.still take it easy though

not caught up with thread from yesterday. I am full of snot & have extreme sore throat this morning hoping not tonsilitis! Ellie okish up & down. Although this all faids into insignificance given what wendy, and especially MAD are going through

TheMadHouse · 08/04/2009 08:42

EHM Hope it isnt toncilitus (sp) take things easy today.

I have managed to get myself and the boys dressed this morning, so am feeling rather proud

I am having a cup of tea and a rest now though.

We are going to soft play with a friend today, she can chace after the boys and I can cuddle her 8 week old - yum

Then collecting mum this afternoon to help with things again.

DS2 has really suffered though my hospitilisation and the SS team think he will benefit from seeing a child phycologist to help with the attatchment issues we are having. I know that this is true, but it upset me a little. it shows no matter how much you plan, you can not cover every base

My kitchen is almost completely done

Kids seem happy.

I am off to see a friend in a bit with a 2 week old baby

grouchyoscar · 08/04/2009 08:57

Morning ALL Mad you are putting us all to shame being alert enough to start the threads! No seriously, I think it's fantastic that you are feeling stronger and better, you've spent a month going through the mill and i'm so chuffed you can see your coming out of it. You go mad! (in a steady, controlled way OK )

EHM poor you

EHM · 08/04/2009 09:31

MAD thanks ever thoughtful you That would have been upsetting don't beat yourself up. You cant plan for unexpected events & you had your fair share. Its very good that you have support & SS know how to deal with these things. Your boys are loved & have a lovely secure home. They will bounce back, after all they have you as a Mum & DH as daddy. Love the pics on FB buy the way. Enjoy the cuddles with friends baby & no slide for you today at softplay
grouchythanks. hope you get the tickets.
ev enjoy cuddles with friends new baby.
biancahope you had a restful night with ds.

Hi all

Plans for today out of window (holiday haircuts/shopping and nice lunch out and feeding ducks by the river) as DS has the lovely D and V

So its Tom and Jerry on the sofa

Am hoping he'll be ok for Friday (DD just had the V last week and has fine in 24 hrs) as we're meant to be going on holiday (only Great Yarmouth.. but we're all really looking forward to it)

BUM BUM BUM

Wolfcub · 08/04/2009 13:11

afternoon all mad I'm glad you are feeling a bit brighter, but make sure you keep taking it easy, it is far too easy to overdo things when you start feeling brighter and then set yourself back (soory I don't mean to be doom and gloom but I want you to take it easy because I care).

Poor DS too, but at least SS are being helpful and are supporting you all. Have a lovely time at soft play, I am very jealous of you getting to cuddle lovely babies. That goes for you too ev. ehm I hope its not the dreaded T word. I hope you feel better soon.

sag I hope ds gets over the D&V quickly

Hello grouchy enjoy the film

done
bed made
quick tidy living room
wm unloaded and washing hung up
dry washing folded
armful of washing put away
ds taken to granny's

Afternoon all

Wolf Dont worry I have been a lady of leisure and a 9 week old bundle cuddler - yummy

Had a fantastic time actually and then popped to saninsburys and got some clothes that fit my non-boob body as a treat.

Mum is now here and it is pizza for tea. so I will be resting for the rest of the day

afternoon all

mad glad you've had a nice day. I'm sure it's upsetting about DS2 but don't beat yourself up about it, and try not to worry too much. When I used to work Isaw children who had been through some seriously sad stuff and they all got through it fine with time. The good things are that he has a wondeful loving mum and dad , and a loving home as others have said, and that in itself , with time , will mean he will be totally fine. He is so young too that he will bounce back very quickly IMO.

ehm hope youre feeling better soon
sag hope Ds is better soon
ev enjoy the scrumptios little babe!
grouchy hope DP cheers up!
wolf hi!

everyone-else Hi!

Had a busy day today...
went to get DS school shoes first thing
Then more shopping for clothes with DD1
and we have finished decorating the dining room YAY
the result of all the above though is that the house is a TOTAL tip but keep telling myself it's not as bad as it looks...
going to do a tidying blitz after Dc go to bed
then some serious baking and cleaning over next 3 days for Easter!
Also more easter crafts to do tomorrow... hopefully in garden to limit mess potential!

Right need to go finish tea time chaos!
see you all tomorrow!

scattyspice · 08/04/2009 17:51

Hi all.

for poorly DC (and those with broken bones ). for poorly Mams too.

Mad - those ss people seem very on the ball! Galen talks much sense though.

Sag - hope all recover for your holiday.

Well finished work now for holidays . Mum has gone home, she did a great job of keeping DC amused for 3 days and even had Ds sort out his toy boxs !

Have caught up with ironing and laundry. Need to get flying again tomorrow .

Ruby, galen and Scatty Thank you for your comments, I really appreicate them. The mian prob we have if that I am going to have to visit hospital at least once a week for the forseeable future and when I went on Monday, DS2 cried until I returned home

I know that I havent caused any long term damage and we are pleased that the offer was there, it is the fact the he is so different to before hospitilisation. Even the creche workers noticed.

Mum is back - I had a wonderful day, but am shattered. No plans for tomorrow apart from hospital visit - i must get loads more stoma bags. Have just used last one.
